Fulbright

The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.

The Program was established in 1946 under legislation introduced by late Senator J. William Fulbright of Arkansas and is sponsored by the United States Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). (From http://fulbright.state.gov/about.html)

I applied for the Fulbright ETA Germany and the Austrian American Educational Commission USTA Fulbright. I was awarded the latter and made it through the first round of the former. I have also applied multiple times for each program so feel free to ask many any questions about the application process!

If you want more information about the Fulbright program, please go here or here. If you want more information about the Austrian American Educational Commission please go here.

This is not an official Fulbright program blog. All views expressed here are my own and are not intended to represent those of the Fulbright program, the Austrian-American Educational Commission, the U.S. Department of State, or any U.S. government entity.
